Garden gangs
From gravel to greenery, we're transforming our outdoor spaces into useful places. We want to make the most of the outdoor land and gardens in this area.
The Garden Gangs will work in places around Warwick District to help turn community spaces, gardens and outdoor areas into really fruitful, applying their knowledge and enthusiasm to make the most of what's already there.
A pilot project is running at the Re-Useful Centre, creating a garden for practical use and imrpoving the look of the outside space there. It will demonstrate creative, affordable ways to get growing, using recycled vessels as growing containers and showing visitors the possibilities of growing plants and vegetables regardless of space, budget or experience.
This is one of our first volunteer-led projects. If you'd like to get involved, please contact our Volunteer Programme Manager, Amy Footer, tel. 01926 453030.
